Simply Simon is my hobby, my job and passion. Everything you see and order comes from a pair of loving and hard working hands attached to a humble Lithuanian – Simonas.
Our elders say that nobody lives with the Sun. From tiny and fragile bumblebees and butterflies to gracefully branched horns and branches, nearly everything is prone to disintegration. Simply Simon Botanic Jewellery began as a project to entrap and excel the beauty of all the gorgeous temporary wonders of nature. During the years a lot of experiments were performed and the results are right here – for you to admire.
Botanic jewellery is where the two imiscible meet: metal and organic matter. It all begins with collection of raw materials, selection, preparation. Then, electroplating allows to imortalise the creations of nature – electroplated copper encapsulates the living matter and overtakes it’s form. A real metamorphosis, transmutation of lifeless copper source into a living jewellery is the key step behind all of our products. Next follows modifications which allow us to make each unique piece even more attractive and eye-catching by employing patinas, brass, silver, nickel, gold plating, paint, lacquers, etc. Eventually a true piece of art, after close inspection, awaits for it’s new happy owner.
