A pendant made for Rapid Random Heartbeats 2019 contest

An intricate design pendant. Made out of copper and then silver plated, this pendant combines quartz, red amber and sea glass. It was made for a jewellery contest – Rapid Random Heartbeats in the Baltic Amber Trip show in 2019. The red amber and blueish sea glass come from the Baltic sea, I’ve found them on Palanga’s shore in 2019-02-16, the commemorative day of restoration of Lithuania’s independence. From front, it resembles clock. Time. I can feel it, you can probably can as well feel it, the rapid disintegration of time. Heart beats fast. Pendant combines past and present, peace and tranquility. It represents a moment. Tic in time. Tic. Toc.
