No matter how strange the world is – paradise, for me, is now and here. In English these two copper plated and lightly aged fruits are called crabapples (malus fusca), whereas in Lithuanian – they’re “paradise apples”. In fact, I’ve never fully understood why these sour little decorative fruits are “paradise” or “crab”, but who knows, maybe the day will come 
These come from a botanically very lively place – Dubravos arboretumas – a place where all sorts of plants are purposefully cultivated.
